About Me

Linguist with a background in formal linguistics and Romance philology and focus on Catalan, French, and Spanish, investigating how commitment shapes common ground at the interface of formal semantics, pragmatics, and syntax, with particular attention to morphological meaning such as verbal mood.

I earned my PhD in linguistics from the Universtiat Pompeu Fabra Barcelona in 2025, with a thesis on the interrelation between mood (alternation) and commitments. I am currently affiliated with the Universitat Pompeu Fabra as a visiting researcher.

Beyond mood and common ground, my research encompasses a wide range of topics — experimental methods, verum, exclamatives, non-canonical speech acts, and obviation — all often examined in the context of cross-linguistics.

More information about my research can be found in the publications section. If you’d like to get in touch — whether with questions, ideas, or collaboration proposals — I’d be happy to hear from you.
